Job Description

The Wilde Café is seeking a Manager. We want a creative, dedicated leader to join our management team and lead our staff by example.

Wilde Cafe is an independently owned, full-service restaurant on St. Anthony Main. We are a close knit group and invest heavily in our staff, customers and community. Members of our team are considered family.

We enjoy our time here, hold ourselves to high standards and expect passion and pride when it comes to food, beverage & hospitality. Wilde Roast believes in continuing education, clear goals and teamwork from the host to the manager role. We strive to give guests a standout experience through high quality and unique menu offerings, comfort, decadence and attentive service.

The manager will be a floor presence and oversee staff including training and general supervision. We desire a candidate comfortable in both the back of house and front of house; with some responsibilities in each area. They will ensure all opening and closing duties are completed correctly, work with the General Manager to execute private parties and help ensure smooth operations. He or she will monitor health, safety and sanitation standards. Most importantly, the position is to make sure our guests leave wanting more. This will be a somewhat fluid position with responsiblities partially based on desire and qualifications.

  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in Food & Beverage
  • Extensive knowledge of food and wines, familiar with all service styles
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong managerial skills with knowledge of local labor laws and proven conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Experienced supervising, scheduling, training and developing new staff
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary arts or closely related field preferred
